St Joseph’s Primary Religious Education Curriculum was developed by the Diocese of Bathurst Catholic Education Office.
While recognising that parents are the first educators of their children in faith, the Primary Religious Education curriculum enables young people to come to know and respond to God more deeply in their lives.
The curriculum has been developed to stimulate and challenge students, to invite critical thinking, moral reasoning, reflection and give creative expression to their developing faith. The storytelling approach of Godly Play and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, nurtures the natural capacity that young children have for curiosity, imagination and wonder.
To Know, Worship and Love series of texts and resources are used to support students learning Kindergarten to Year 6.
